"If I am capable of grasping God objectively, I do not believe, but precisely because I cannot do this I must believe." - Soren Kierkegaard
That's a perfectly example of 2 centuries of sloppy thinking by so-called Christian thinkers.

I don't recognize the source of the Kierkegaard quote, but it sounds like one of his pseudonyms. If so, then note well that SK used his pseudonyms as sock puppets to espouse views with subtle flaws.
I should probably provide a source. The Brainy Quote labels Kierkegaard as the author.
I wasn't aware that Kierkegaard used pseudonyms, and perhaps this quote should be treated skeptically for that reason. Even so, it "sounds like" Kierkegaard and the philosophy he advocated.
