Just to follow-up on my post from yesterday...looks like the radical materialists are waking up to the growing threat from spiritual rationalists...and the new frontline is neuroscience. See this article. Money quote:
Today's issue of Science has a letter from neuroscientist Martha Farah and theologian Nancey Murphy warning against 'non-materialist neuroscience' becoming the new front-line in the religion wars.
This is just more evidence that - as brain research advances - evidence is going AGAINST the materialists, and in favor of a more spiritual understanding of consciousness - and (needless to say) the materialists don't like it. So they're pre-emptively ruling out any attempt to question the materialist paradigm as beyond the realm of "acceptable science."
